Relics of Orr [RO] Presents: Pi[e] Day 2011: The Results

On Sunday we held our first annual Pi[e] Day in Rata Sum International 1 and simultaneously on Split Infinity Radio and Guild Wars 2 Live.  The feedback from the event has been great so far and we’re really pleased that people enjoyed themselves and the prizes!

During the event Laz stepped in to act as trivia master, asking general knowledge and Guild Wars questions throughout the event for a variety of party, sweet and alcohol items, trick or treat bags and summoning stones.  Tigerfeet also stepped up to the plate with the scavenger hunt, where we asked party goers to retrieve an Archaic Kappa Shell, a Red Iris Flower and a Mandragor Root.  The first 5 people to return got special prizes for their speedy abilities to loot corpses and pick flowers.  Congratulations to the following:

Towards the end of the event, we announced the winners of our offline prizes.  Our panel of judges consisted of Tigerfeet, Cookie and Soulblythe from Split Infinity Radio, Ubi from Talk Tyria and Jonny10 from GuildMag.  We asked them each to pick their top 20 favourite submitted pie related facts and reasons why pie is better than cake from the 60 received and added up the totals to find our winners.  There were some really good entries that didn’t win, so take a few minutes to read the final list.  Congratulations to the winners!
